C.S.A. Men's Softball League Rules
1. C.S.A Will follow A.S.A rules pertaining to men's slow pitch softball.
2. Only teams which are members of C.S.A. are eligible to play.
3. Coaches must be true and "full time" men of God.
4. All players shall conduct themselves as Christians & Gentlemen at all times on the field.
5. Teams may have two outreach players per season.(after 1 season as an outreach player, he must make a commitment to the Lord & to the Church to continue to play).
6. No tobacco, alcohol, or foul language on the field.
7. Rosters limited to 20 players only.
8. Teams must have at least numbered shirts & hats to play.
9. Home team shall provide the bases for all games.
10. Each team will provide one new ball per game.
11. Any field that is under 280 feet from home plate to the fence or obstructions is not an A.S.A. regulation field, Any balls hit in the air out of that field will be a ground rule double.
12. Players that attend a church with a team , must play for that team. No free Agents.
13. Teams are allowed to have a "DH." as a "Twelfth batter only". if they so choose. This position is a batter only. Once a man is a "DH" he cannot enter the game as a position player.
14. The 15 run rule will be in affect. Anytime, from the 5th inning on, a team gets a lead of 15 runs the game is terminated.
POSTPONING GAMES
1. Rain! Home team must call the Head Umpire by 5PM to cancel a game. If you don't call you will pay.

2. Church functions, Games may be postponed for Church related functions such as:
Special meetings, Weddings, Picnics
Not for lack of players or "its just to hot". Teams wishing to postpone a game must give the other team at least 1 week advance notice. Failure to give 1 week notice will result in a forfeit.
3. Home team has three weeks to make-up the game or will forfeit. However if away team does not agree to any time in that three week period they will forfeit.
4. If home team does not attempt to make-up the game, then away team gets the win.
Courtesy Runners
1. Courtesy Runners are allowed for players who have current injuries or get injured during the game.
2. Limit of 2 courtesy runners per team, per game.
3. The runner will be the last batted out.
Rosters
1. All rosters are due June 1st of the current season.
2. Rosters not in by that date will result in a forfeit for every game it is late.
3. Any changes to your roster may be submitted to me in writing and signed by your Pastor.
4. No additions to the roster after July 15th.
